The Frost bearer in EXO-M, and can freeze anything in his will, Looks can be deceiving when you thought that Xiumin is the youngest. He is the eldest of his group. Serves as a comic relief when he's partner with Baekhyun, ChanYeol, Luhan, Chen and Lay. In KOFTP, he appeared to be mischevious, such as making Vice slipped by freezing the floor and also helped Kula defeat Orochi Chris by exceeding her Ice power. He also show his excessively funny reaction, such as he smelt the Dou Zhi Er (Old Beijing fermented Beans) and surprisingly shock of it. He's been called "Little Fatty" due to his unusual round face.

In EXO Planet. When the boys have to do chores at the sister's rooftop house, Xiumin accidentally drops a several books and then a story book titled 'The Little Mermaid' caught his eyes and start reading. There he came to love fairy tales and very fond of mermaids, as he desire to meet a mermaid under the sea which was his wish list. He eventually fell in love with Jinju because of her voice. Like Chen, he's not afraid of ghost. However, he was too dense and dull to notice that the ghost tried to scare him, seeing him easily walkthrough the maze of haunted house and coming out from the exit looking fine, much to his brothers' confusion and frustration.
