Kurei and his alter ego Darkwing Dragon

Kurei, being chosen as the Aura Guardian, had to hide his identity from his classmates, including Ushiro, the nerd who witnessed their transformation and wanted to exposed their identity. Kurei hitch a plan, with the help of Elias, Momiji and Satoshi, disguise as a hero of Justice, named Darkwing Dragon, pun to the name of Darkwing Duck, the crime fighter.

As Darkwing Dragon, he appeared to be mysterious and somehow meddlesome when it comes to someone being bullied. Unlike his usual behaviour as Kurei, Darkwing Dragon never swears or curses alot (as a hero he needs to control his profanity). He somehow rather heroic and had a large ego, and can initially be mistaken for a bumbling superhero. However, when pushed, as symbolized by the utterance of his catchphrase, "Let's get dangerous,"his reminiscence of his childhood Disney TV show, Darkwing Duck , he can become very competent, proving his skill. Momiji was his love-interest and sidekick, known as Aura White, He typically works at night, appearing with smoke effects and a unique introductory statement. As a hero, Darkwing Dragon is often forced to balance his desire for fame with his desire to be a father, since he engaged with Momiji.
