Chapter 23: Devious Battle

(Shadows stands his ground while Zeus does not move a muscle)

Sally: Curious, they are not moving.

Andy: they are focusing their energy. They will need all their might for this combat.

Amy: w-which one is stronger? Shadow or the other brute?

Andy: I can tell for sure.

Diana: I already saw Shadow's fighting capacity but Zeus is entirely new to me. I don't know how powerful he might be.

Terry: This guy … I have a feeling he in the same level as Ignis, maybe more.

Antonie: What?!?! Oh no! no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no!!!! hum...who is Ignis?

K': The biggest piece of trash of the world!

Maxima: Still, we have no idea how power this guy is.

Ryo: Maybe we do. This guy finish the Geese clone like he was nothing. We practically gave our best to take him down.

Maxima: well, the guy was tire, it was more than obvious that he had no more strength to resist Zeus brutality.

King: maybe but trashing him down the way Zeus did, it wasn't just because the Geese clone was tire. It was due to his power.

Bunnie: Oh my Stars, your saying this guy is hiding more tricks in his sleeve.

King: that is right.

Tails: oh man, after all the battles we endured we still going to face the worst one? Why can't things ever be easy?

Sonic: Say what? and miss hardcore action? no way!

Shadow: (thinking) He's very calm, too calm, I don't like this at all. it would be stupid of me if I charge against him like a fool. I need to test his might to see if I can find any weakness.

(Shadow jumps towards Zeus and kicks him on the face, the kick was so powerful that it almost made everyone lose their balance, still it did not affect Zeus one bit.
Seeing how his attack was useless Shadow jumps back and jumps to the air)

Shadow: Chaos Blasts!
(shoots dozens of blast to Zeus who takes then without moving. the blasts did not even scratch Zeus at all.
Zeus:  *laughs* Is that all? It affected me like a summer breeze.

Shadow: I…I don't believe it! this is one of my strongest attacks and it did not damage him! what is this man?

Athena: no wonder why Dr.Brown said that this guy is dominant. Terry is right, he is just as powerful as Ignis.

Zeus: So you are the Ultimate life form that Mogul told me about? what a depressing shaggy dog story.

Shadow: GRRRR. I'll teach you not to mock me! (starts to charge up more energy)

Sonic: Yo, Shadow, what are you doing?

Sally: Oh my gosh, he's going to use chaos blast! Everyone get back!!!

Blue Mary: What? what is going to do?

Sally: GET BACK!!!!

(Everyone step away from the fight, leaving Shadow and Zeus to fight)

Shadow: CHAOS…BLAST!!!!

--a huge energy explosion emerged from shadow, destroying anything in his path--

Kyo: damn man, that dark one is hardcore!

Iori: hump! a mere wimp!

Shadow: Let's see you get out of that one!

(once the smoke was clear everyone gasped when they see Zeus did not suffer not even a scratch from Shadows attack)

Ryo: I don't believe it! What is that monster?

Robert: Bad news all the way, that is what he is.

Shadow: This can't be…what are you?

Zeus: I am a warrior who has been for a very long time, even before you were born.

Shadow: Let's see if you have the skills to back that statement!! (Angrilly throws some kicks and punches at Zeus but like before it did not affect him at all)

Zeus: My turn.. ( throws a punch at Shadow. the punch was not fast and Shadow could block it but the brutal strength of Zeus prevented Shadow from successfully block the attack
Shadow:  (got hit but gets up weakly but infuritated) damn it…

Iori: hump, worthless rat! (kicks Shadow away)

Amy: Hey! What are you doing!?!?!

Sonic: What is your deal, pal!?!?

Iori: Be quiet, that little rat deserve much worse.

Shadow: I swear… I will kill you!!!

Iori: Humph! (ignores shadow and steps forward to Zeus)

Zeus: You step forward towards me, Zeus. are you that insane?

Iori: Get over it! don't think that I am on the same level as that rat!

Zeus: oh really? fine then, show me the power of one who holds the Orochi blood.

Iori: so you know? I assume Gustav inform you all about it.

Zeus: You assume correctly.
Iori: As I assume you will die in the next second (throws a flame (Yami Barai) attack at Zeus, which did not affect him at all) What?! DAMN!!

Zeus: you assume incorrectly.

Iori: What I don't believe it.

Zeus: Gustav told me you are a threatening opponent, but it seem he gave you too much credit.

Iori: Don't underestimate me, you piece of trash! (dashes against Zeus and does a slice attack, Zeus does not even move, he took the hit directly but he did not even blink. Even so Iori does not stop and continues to perform dozen of slices attacks, not of them seems to pierce Zeus)

Joe: This has to be a joke! Iori's fingers are so sharp that it almost sounds like we are being stabbed by a sword, but this guy…

Yuri: he takes them like it is nothing.

Iori: (thinking) it is like I am hitting iron. what is this guy?

Gustav: I see you made the wise choice in making this fool our ally. I've never seen Iori being taken down like this.

Mogul: Neither have I seen Shadow being taken down like an amateur. Zeus can be a dangerous man if I did not knew how to manipulate him.

Gustav: Very soon we will have all the data we need for our project. as soon as Zeus starts to fight seriously the project will be concluded.

Mogul: Perfect. hehehehe, oh Sonic, you and your pitiable freedom fighters will help us attain the most dominant weapon in the universe.

Gustav: Indeed. Kyo and his associates form an association with Sonic and his people to bring to an end to us but in the end they will assist us to accomplish a great triumph!
